Novice : You know when to strike fiercely and when to strike with caution. When you make a MELEE ATTACK, you can take up to a -3 penalty on your ATTACK ROLL to receive a corresponding bonus to your DEFENSE. For example, you can take a -2 penalty on your ATTACK ROLL to get a +2 DEFENSE bonus. Alternately, you can receive up to a +3 bonus on your ATTACK ROLL if you take a corresponding penalty on your DEFENSE. Both modifiers remain until the beginning of your next turn.

Journeyman : You know when to strike with precision and when to strike with power. When you make a MELEE ATTACK, you can take up to a -3 penalty on your ATTACK ROLL to receive a corresponding bonus to your DAMAGE roll. For example, you can take a -2 penalty on your ATTACK ROLL to get a +2 bonus on your DAMAGE roll. Alternately, you can receive up to a +3 bonus on your ATTACK ROLL if you take a corresponding penalty on your DAMAGE roll. Both modifiers remain until the beginning of your next turn. Master : When making an ATTACK ROLL, you may shift down one of your dice by one point in order to get a double and perform COMBAT STUNTS. If you already possess a similar ability, you may choose to shift one die by one point up instead.
